My Coaching
Life coaching can be beneficial to people at almost any stage of life. We all face problems and issues and being able to take the time to think and talk through things is inherently helpful. Coaching begins with the premise that each client is "naturally creative, resourceful, and whole (from Co-Active Coaching by Kimsey-House)." The coach is there to guide the process for clients to discover their own solutions or paths forward.
For people who have ADHD, coaching can be a real game-changer. The same premise of being "naturally creative, resourceful, and whole" applies to people who have ADHD, with the additional idea that the neurodivergent brain often needs some extra guidance. This is true for adolescents, college students, and adults.
Academics are an important part of our society and having an academic coach, whether or not a student has diagnosed ADHD, is quite useful.

ADHD Family Support
If you have a child who has been diagnosed with ADHD, Strategic Connections can help you find strategies and practical ideas to make your home more structured and peaceful. Depending on your specific family circumstances, we can determine if academic coaching for your child and/or family coaching to support parents will be the best fit.
Why Coaching?
Coaching can help you discover and implement the strategies and skills that will help you and/or your child to improve the things in life that get in the way of your best success.
Coaching IS NOT therapy or tutoring. Therapy is great to work on things in your past that you need to resolve and tutoring is perfect when there is a lack of understanding in a class. Coaching is, instead, a way to work on yourself with the support of a trained professional.
